Racer Sessions return to Cafe Racer!!!

Announcement time, friends of the avant!

As many of you know, we've been living in the interim for a few months. Cafe Racer, our home of nearly eight years, closed its doors last October after a long period of financial strain. We were left without a venue and without funding for the Racer Sessions, after producing it weekly without fail since its inception. We were heartbroken. But we were also determined, and completely lifted up by all of you and our community. Every Sunday, there was still a session, and there was still an audience. THANK YOU FOR STICKING IT OUT WITH US! You are the life and the love of the Racer Sessions.

As of Thursday, Cafe Racer has reopened! There is new ownership - four total partners - and the same ol' Cafe, only slightly spruced-up: new floors, a green room, and a delicious menu to boot. And we are excited to announce that the Racer Sessions *will be returning to its original home*. This is something we at Table & Chairs and the Racer Sessions are incredibly optimistic about. We have been having great conversations with the partners about the importance of Cafe Racer being a safe space to all, and feel that we are being heard, not only in those conversations, but in the work that they're putting in and the actions that they've been taking leading up to today. Additionally, the Session remains free, all-ages, and open to the public.

All of this is to say that this Sunday's session will take place at CAFE RACER! Please please join us there for a wonderful presentation by Bad Luck!
