Don’t bring any instruments.

We want to explore free improvisation without the potential confines of our musical instruments.

Imagine there is a peach. At the center, there is the concept of free improvisation. The flesh around the peach is the growing, codified lexicon of free improvisation that has become part of the scene at Racer Sessions: techniques, tropes, configurations, comfort zones, etc. We hope to take our curatorial knife, cut into the flesh of the peach, and cleanly expose the pit.
