For this Sunday, the final show of my spring tour, I will be infusing a solo set of guitar/synth/drum machine with audio reactive live projections. In the past year I have been working with a software that effects various parameters within the visual realm by linking up to various frequency bandwidths and there corresponding amplitudes.
For the second set I would like to invite up players whom would like to workshop this concept in an open setting. I am interested in exploring the process of group audio/visual improvisation and how this can be implemented into the modern framework of a multi-media interactive performance. I will provide up to three inputs (mic or line) for those interested and demonstrate how I can map each channel separately to a visual permutation.
