No Session This Sunday | Statewide Silent March and General Strike Today | June 12, 2020

Hello Racer Community,

In continued solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and the Seattle-King County BLM Chapter, we encourage you to participate in a day of action today, June 12th. There is a call for a statewide general strike - instead of going into work or working from home, taking the day to march, familiarize yourself with your elected officials, and make your voice heard. If you live in Seattle, there is a Silent March that will gather at Judkins park at 1pm, and depart at 2pm for Jefferson Park (1.8 miles). Additionally, we will continue to pause the Zoom Sessions, in an effort to keep the focus on current events. We are actively discussing ways in which the Racer Sessions / Table & Chairs can continue to support this momentum through our work, action, and community of music, so please stay tuned and until then, stay safe.
