Greetings, Racers!

This Sunday, we’re thrilled to have two of our wonderful Racer regulars, Casey and Mike, presenting duo drums.

In the summer of 2012, drummers Mike Gebhart and Casey Adams met in Spokane Washington, and immediately connected over their shared passion for the drums, experimental music and campy early 2000’s television. They proceeded to solidify their friendship and musical bond during marathon nights spent aimlessly driving the empty streets of Spokane, listening to free jazz, throwing rocks in the river and conversing into the early hours of the morning. 

Since then Mike and Casey have been integral parts of each others musical development and have performed together in a variety of ensembles and side projects. This will be their first time presenting improvised music as a duo, and they are greatly honored to do so on the Racer stage.

This is also the final Racer Session of the year, so make sure to come out for it! We will gather one more time on Sunday, December 16th for the annual Table & Chairs Holiday Show. Come to both! But first, come to the Racer Sessions this Sunday at 8pm. See you then!
