Greetings, Racers!

This Sunday we have a very special session on our hands. Earlier this year we reached out to our friend, bassist Carmen Rothwell, who has been living in New York for a while now, to see if she’d be in town this year and would want to play a session. Luckily, she would! And not only that, so would her frequent collaborator and our fellow friend, guitarist Ryan Beckley. They are embracing this opportunity by reuniting with collaborator and champion of all things drums, Gregg Keplinger. In conclusion: O’K, their wonderful trio, will ride again at the Racer Sessions.

Carmen sent us a single, beautiful sentence for the blog:

“Kep is the river; Ryan and Carmen are the dam.”

We really hope you’ll join us this Sunday at 8pm for their set, and the session that will follow. It’s gonna be a real treat.
