We are thrilled to return to Racer Sessions for the first time since 2014. The space and community of Cafe Racer have meant a great deal to us over the years, individually and as a band, so it’s extremely special to have the opportunity to curate once again.

In our early years, free improvisation played a huge role in our compositional process, arranging process, and performances. However, as our music has become more thoroughly composed in recent years, improvisation has played less of a central roll in our performances (though still integral to our creative process.)

So for this week’s session, we are going to do something we have never done live: we will perform a completely improvised set.
